Autism Advocacy & Support

Every Person Deserves to Be Seen, Heard, and Valued

We walk alongside autistic individuals and their families — providing advocacy, resources, and community so no one has to navigate this journey alone.

Acceptance.
Advocacy.
Community.

Our Commitment to the Autism Community

At Pathways to Hope, we believe autism is a difference, not a deficit. Our Autism Advocacy & Support branch is built on the principle that every autistic individual deserves access to compassionate support, strong advocacy, and a community that truly understands.

We serve autistic individuals of all ages and their families — offering practical resources, systems navigation, and a safe space to connect with others who share similar experiences.

How We Support You

All of our services are free and confidential.

Advocacy & Rights Support

We actively advocate for the rights of autistic individuals in educational, medical, and community settings — and we are fighting to bring more autism services and resources to Stanly County so that families right here at home have access to the support they deserve.

IEP & School Navigation

Guidance through Individualized Education Programs, school meetings, and special education processes so families feel informed and empowered.

Family Support Groups

Regular gatherings where families of autistic individuals can connect, share experiences, and find encouragement in a supportive community.

Sibling Support Groups

Dedicated support groups for the brothers and sisters of autistic individuals — a space to share, connect, and be understood alongside peers who truly get it.

Resource Navigation

We help connect individuals and families to local services, therapies, financial assistance programs, and community resources.

Individual Support Planning

Personalized support planning to help autistic individuals identify goals, build on strengths, and access the services they need to thrive.

Respite Services

We provide respite support to give caregivers and families a much-needed break — because caring for yourself is part of caring for your loved one.

ABA Services (Coming Soon)

We are working to bring Applied Behavior Analysis services to our community. Stay connected — this program is on the horizon.
